Maritime Annual Conference and Gala Success
On the menu of course was fish, but on the agenda were updates from the Maritime Alliance and partners.
The Maritime Alliance is worldwide organization based here in San Diego. They are a nonprofit think tank for promoting the maritime community and growing the maritime industry. This month they hosted their annual 2-day conference and gala. The event brought together over 240 individuals and businesses from around the world in the maritime industry. The event was hosted at the Corky McMillin Event Center at Liberty Station in San Diego. The participants and speakers shared interesting products and innovative solutions for bringing technology and resources to this industry.
On the menu of course was fish, but on the agenda were updates from the Maritime Alliance and partners. The 29 vendors displayed innovative and cutting edge technology to their partners in the industry. Fred Terral with Brand Architecture Inc unveiled the new “Think Blue” campaign designed to bring awareness to the maritime and blue tech industry. Maritime is not just ships and boats. It is also a thriving source of jobs for our country as well as locally in San Diego.
For more information on this campaign, please “like” the Maritime Alliance Facebook page, linked in, or look them up for ways to join and grow the alliance of like-minded companies. If your business is at all connected to the San Diego economy or Blue Tech world, please consider joining the alliance. Working to promote awareness and jobs we can build the maritime and blue tech economy.
